30 Rocks at 30 Rock

NBC Sports and Rockefeller Center are teaming up to bring the excitement of the NBA’s return to NBC and Peacock to life with 30 Rocks, a week-long fan celebration at 30 Rockefeller Plaza from October 16–21.

Step onto a custom LED basketball half-court, explore 30 one-of-a-kind basketball artworks inspired by every NBA team, and take part in daily fan experiences, photo ops, and appearances by NBCUniversal personalities and NBA legends—including Maria Taylor, Michael Bublé, John Starks, Ron Harper, Joakim Noah, Jason Richardson, and more.

Each day leading up to NBA Tip-Off on October 21, fans can enjoy interactive programming—from youth clinics and 3-point contests to trivia games, panels, and giveaways. Highlights include an On Her Turf panel hosted by Maria Taylor, a Legends Takeover with NBA icons, and a live countdown to tip-off featuring The Voice’s Michael Bublé and The TODAY Show on site.

Plus, take your visit to Top of the Rock to the next level with NBA 2K. Celebrate the season’s tip-off by playing NBA 2K26 right on the observation deck, relive legendary highlights from the House of 2K featuring Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Angel Reese, and Carmelo Anthony, and capture the moment with a photo opportunity on The Beam. Thursday Oct. 16 – Launch Day

• 9:00 AM: 30 Rocks Launch Day will tip-off with a reveal of the 30 rocks for media and fans alike, and the first shot on the LED half-court.
• 12:00 – 1:30 PM: Carl Radke of Bravo hit show Summer House will stop by to meet fans and shoot some hoops.
• 5:30 – 7 PM ET: Fan Happy Hour to celebrate

Friday Oct. 17 – NBA Legends Takeover

• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Fans will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with NBA legends John Starks and Ron Harper.
• 4:00 - 5:00 PM: An NBC Sports’ On Her Turf panel conversation on women in sports will be hosted by Maria Taylor.
• 6:00 – 7:00 PM: NBA legends Joakim Noah and Jason Richardson will be guest judges for an NBC/Peacock Dunk Contest featuring Team Flight Brothers.

Saturday Oct. 18 – NBA Youth Day

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA will host a clinic featuring basketball skill building activities for local youth with an open invitation to the public.
• 12:30 – 2:30 PM: Open court time and fan 3 pointer event

Sunday, Oct. 19 – NBCU Family and Youth Day

• 12:30 – 2:00 PM: Open court time and fan 3 pointer event
• 4: 00 – 6:00 PM: Fans can test their NBA knowledge and compete for prizes in games of NBA Trivia.

Monday, Oct. 20 – NBA Jersey Day

• 9:00 – 11:00 AM: In conjunction with the NBA’s sixth annual NBA Jersey Day, Monday’s edition of 30 Rocks will include jersey-related fan giveaways, competitions and trivia.
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Open court, fans are encouraged to wear jerseys
• 4:00 – 6:00 PM: Joakim Noah and influencer Brad Parker of TheScore will be onsite to participate in various activities.

Tuesday, Oct. 21 – NBA on NBC & Peacock Tip-Off Spectacle

• 8:00 – 9:00 AM: The Voice’s Michael Bublé will hang out at the 30 Rocks LED court and meet and take pictures with fans.
• 5:00 PM: A champion will be crowned when fans battle it out in a title game of N-B-C.

In a final celebration of the NBC & Peacock, there will be a live countdown to Tip-Off of the NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the Houston Rockets at 6:30 p.m. ET.
