Top of the Rock Tree Viewing Experience
From December 4 through January 10, every Top of the Rock visit includes exclusive access to a dedicated Tree Viewing area at the base of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. No separate ticket is needed — the experience is automatically included with any General Admission, All-In Pass, or Express Pass during this period.
Guests should plan to arrive at the Tree Viewing entrance 15 minutes before their scheduled Top of the Rock reservation. Enter on 50th Street, head down the stairs toward The Rink, and the entrance will be immediately on your right. This ensures you have time to enjoy the viewing area before heading to the Observation Decks.
Once inside, you’ll step into a specially designated space offering an intimate, close-up look at the world-famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Capture festive holiday photos, take in every sparkling detail, and then continue your journey up to Top of the Rock for sweeping skyline views.
Please note that the Tree Viewing Experience is separate from the Official Christmas Tree Photo, a professional photo experience taken by our staff on The Rink steps across from the Tree. Purchase tickets for The Official Christmas Tree Photo here.
